Teacher of Art and Design

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Teacher of Art and Design to join Forest School, a thriving, oversubscribed and academically selective co-educational independent day school.

The Teacher of Art and Design will be responsible for delivering high quality teaching with the aim of helping students develop a broad base of skills through practical, investigational, and contextual work across all Key Stages. The Teacher of Art and Design will teach a timetable comprised of subjects from the endorsement offered by the faculty (Fine Art, Photography, Three-Dimensional Design and Textile Design). The subjects taught will depend on the successful candidates specialism, however we anticipate that the teaching timetable would be comprised of a minimum of two endorsements. The Teacher of Art and Design must be able to demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and communicate this in an enthusiastic and imaginative way in all lessons.
